have been announced as finalists at the global Digital Signage Awards 2021.

The global Digital Signage Awards are completely independent and have been recognising great companies, projects, content, campaigns and products from across the world for the past 10 years. The awards work hand-in-hand with their media partner Sixteen:Nine and are supported by leading companies keen to promote excellence and innovation throughout the sector.

Finalists for Retail Project of the Year

has been announced as a finalist in the Retail Project of the Year category for the Krispy Kreme GEN8 Cabinets. This project has seen over 150 digital cabinets deployed in the UK, which run stretched header screens, shelf edge label displays and internal promo screens. These cabinets also integrate presence sensors which detect customers and change the SEL content to display doughnut information including pricing and allergens. Also integrated is an LED strip light which can also be controlled and changed via to match campaign content on the screens.

The Awards Ceremony

Traditionally the awards ceremony is held during one of the industries must renowned exhibition events; ISE. However in 2021, due to COVID and re-scheduling of ISE, the Digital Signage Awards will take place as a virtual event on 3rd February 2021.

The Judging

Expert judges who are chosen for their experience in the industry, skills and disciplines, vote independently for the Digital Signage Awards entries they think the best in each category. The total combined votes in the private ballot decide a winner.
