Important Changes Coming in July

In July 2023, we plan to undertake a large scale migration of our infrastructure. As such, users will benefit from a more secure, robust, scalable and sustainable product.

As part of the migration, there are some key dates where access to the embed signage application UI will be restricted – you will not have access to your account during this time. The dates planned are:

  • 15th July 2023 – 22:00 to 02:00 BST (10pm-2am BST)
  • 22nd July 2023 – 22:00 to 02:00 BST (10pm-2am BST)
  • 29th July 2023 – 22:00 to 02:00 BST (10pm-2am BST)

Updated Firewall Information

For those of you that are using firewalls, please note the new changes below which you will need to apply to your relevant network(s) to allow embed to function normally once the migration is complete.

All current firewall rules should remain in place until migration is complete. After this date, the updated firewall rules will apply.

Please ensure all of the below Host names are allowed through your firewall before the first migration date:

Note: embed signage makes no inbound connections into your network – all connections are outbound from devices and the user interface.
